New Website

How is www.firebrucearians.com not registered yet? That game plan was clearly the work of a coordinator over thinking a game plan on a bye week. And Mike Tomlin shouldn't have let it happen. I know he is a defensive coach, but he has to get some control over what can only be described as Arian's ego. One of the best rushing teams in the NFL against the worst rush defense in the NFL and we start off with a Tight End screen? And don't get me started on the number of screen passes. And Ben, stop with the home run ball every single time. Are there any timing routes in the playbook? Yes, Ben is good at avoiding the rush, thankfully considering our line, but why is waiting 5-10 seconds. Run some slants, some quick outs. Throw to a spot on the field where you know the receiver is going to be.

Our defense cannot be out on the field that long and be effective. The players tire and can't be as aggressive in that attacking system, not to mention the thin air in Denver.

There is no excuse for not lining up two tight ends and putting Dan Kreider in the game and shoving it down Denver's throats.

I'm going to goDaddy to register a domain name.

Hooray! Someone has figured out that the offensive coordinator is offensive. Timing routes off the play action, Krieder in the backfield, and, no shotgun until absolutely necessarty.

@ dane: Not one one game, the Arizona game was at least as bad with our inability to protect Ben. And have you seen how many times they have gone for home runs? Some of that has to be on the play caller. How many times has Ben been scrambling for five seconds? My main concern is that "creativity" is costing them games.

The offense didn't lose the game against the Broncos, the defense did. If any coach is to blame, it is coach Dick. The cover-2 worked well against a better team - the Seahawks, yet Dick allows Troy to run around and do what? Nothing.

For the genius who said the defense lost the game, get a clue. The defense was not effective because the offense gave the Bronco's the ball 3 times in the first half. There isn't a defense around that would be effective when the offense has 3 turnovers in one half. The first INT on the deep ball was a terrible under thrown pass and the fumble was due to Ben holding the ball in on hand on his hip when he should of seen the sack imminent.

You got to be kidding me! This team is as good as the Patriots or Colts. Notice where the two losses were, in the West. The Steelers never travel west well. See the season they didn't make the playoffs when they played the AFC and NFC West. This team will be fine and, when they get to the playoffs, will catch either NE or Indy looking ahead to the playoff game against the other one. The Steelers will be in the AFC Championship game, at least.

You all need to chill out. If you haven't read it already, it was said that many of the passing plays in the first half against Denver were audibles at the line of scrimage (ie Big Ben's play calls). And go screw yourself if you think that we should fire him. What a morbid bunch of chicken littles. And if I have to hear one more "Dan Krieder in the backfield" coment, I think I'm going to puke. Nothing against Krieder, but come on, its not like we're neglecting some all-world, hall of fame talent. The offense is fine; acutally its better than fine; it is the best they have been in recent memory. Oh, and by the way, the defense did lose the game. If we score 28 points and lose, its on the defense. Particularly, if the give up a 60 yd drive for the game winning field goal in the final minute. Sorry, thems the breaks! If you relly want to complain, log onto fire dicklabeau.com. Just kidding, but do hear how ridiculous that sounds.
